ACADEMIC BACKGROUND:

Graduated from East Gaston High School, then attended Gaston College where I achieved both my Associate's degrees in Science and Engineering with honors. I just recently received a cybersecurity certification from University of North Carolina at Charlotte Continuing Education, and currently, I am enrolled at University of North Carolina at Charlotte to pursue a Bachelor's degree majoring in Computer Science.

PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND:

Worked at Gamestop through high school, and throughout college I valeted cars around the city of Charlotte with Park Inc. In the Fall of 2022 I interned at Electrolux as server and network administrator. My responsibilites were maintaining server performance and health as well as maintaining a sufficient network for the other workers in the facility. Currently, I work for the FAA in Technical Operations to ensure the National Airways System stays the best and safest system in the United States of America.

FUTURE GOALS:

After gaining valuable experience with the FAA over the next few years, I aim to build a strong foundation of real-world knowledge to become an efficient and highly skilled technologist. Ultimately, I plan to transition into the field of cyber defense, working my way up through dedication and expertise. I believe it is my purpose to harness both my passion and the skills I’ve developed, so that one day, I can see the impact of my work and witness the positive changes I’ve contributed to my community and the world.
